Oksana Lutsyshyna
Oksana Lutsyshyna is a Ukrainian poet, writer, literary scholar and translator, author of three novels, collection of short stories, and five books of poetry, the latest of them published in the English translation in 2019 (Persephone Blues, Arrowsmith). For her latest novel, published in the English translation by Deep Vellum Publishing, Ivan and Phoebe, she was awarded the Lviv City of Literature UNESCO Prize (2020) and the Taras Shevchenko National Award in fiction (2021) in Ukraine. Her novel Love Life was issued in translation by the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute in 2024. In the recent past, she worked as an Associate Professor of Instruction at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2025 she was the Amy Clampitt Poet-in-Residence in Lenox, Massachusetts. Her poems and short essays were published in AGNI Online, Michigan Quarterly Review, The Common, Solstice Magazine, Loch Raven Review, Translation Review, Apofenie, The Irish Pages, Harriman Magazine, The Wolf, and in many anthologies.
