Dave Eggers & Will Evans at the Highland Park Literary Festival (Dallas)

Renowned author Dave Eggers headlines the Highland Park Literary Festival with a talk and discussion Will Evans, founder of Deep Vellum.
Books by Dave Eggers, as well as books by other HP Literary Festival workshop presenters, will be for sale beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 25th, before and after the Keynote address. Mr. Eggers will be available for book signing following his keynote presentation.
Dave Eggers is the author of ten books, including most recently Your Fathers, Where Are They? And the Prophets, Do They Live Forever?, The Circle and A Hologram for the King, which was a finalist for the 2012 National Book Award. He is the founder of McSweeney’s, an independent publishing company based in San Francisco that produces books, a quarterly journal of new writing (McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern), and a monthly magazine, The Believer. McSweeney’s also publishes Voice of Witness, a nonprofit book series that uses oral history to illuminate human rights crises around the world. Eggers is the co-founder of 826 National, a network of eight tutoring centers around the country and ScholarMatch, a nonprofit organization designed to connect students with resources, schools and donors to make college possible. He lives in Northern California with his family.
WILL EVANS is the publisher and executive director for Deep Vellum Publishing, which he founded in the historic neighborhood of Deep Ellum in Dallas in 2013. Deep Vellum is a not-for-profit publishing house that operates with the mission to publish the highest quality works of world literature in English translation, to promote translation as a vital part of our literary culture, and to foster a more vibrant literary community in Dallas and beyond.
