Teatro Dallas, in collaboration with hosting partner Artstillery, presents an evening exploring poetry as an agency, featuring South African poet Ronelda Kamfer via remote simulcast and Dallas poet Melania Luisa Marte. Break bread and join both poets for a candid conversation on their work and the role poetry and language plays in empowering women in their respective communities. Each participant will receive a cool, summer chicken noodle dish from Hello Dumpling and a complimentary glass of wine or sparkling water.
