House of SpeakEasy is a 501(c)(3) arts nonprofit devoted to the idea that literature matters. Their mission is to connect authors and audiences by providing access to writers and books—on stage, in schools, and on the road with The SpeakEasy Bookmobile.

Their popular monthly literary cabaret show "Seriously Entertaining," which The New York Times called "a literary mixtape [with] perfect flow and variety," features renowned and emerging novelists, poets, historians, journalists, biographers, comedians, and graphic storytellers ruminating on the evening's theme.
