Deep Vellum is hiring a Marketing Coordinator

Deep Vellum is seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This person will provide vital support for the Marketing Department, both through administrative maintenance and agency over creative endeavors, including social media. The ideal candidate is familiar with the publishing industry and eager to learn more. This role is project-based and detail-oriented, and will require someone who is able to work independently. Experience is appreciated but not required, as this person will learn systems on the job – and be involved in building new ones. Applications are due July 15, 2023.  

Responsibilities include:

Assemble seasonal metadata assets for distribution and internal use

Assist Marketing Director with website, including regular content updates and eCommerce support

Lead Deep Vellum’s social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and more if desired

Support creation of visual assets and eblasts, including catalogs and newsletters

With Marketing and Publicity Director, brainstorm new ways to get Deep Vellum books to accounts

Support Deep Vellum’s relationship with bookstores and libraries

Support Marketing department with administrative work as needed

 

This job is part-time, $15-20/hour, starting at 20-25 hours per week with potential for growth.
