Deep Vellum Authors on Tour!

Deep Vellum is thrilled to bring three of the world’s greatest writers—and all women—to Texas for literary events across the state in the month of April: Carmen Boullosa of Mexico, Leila S. April 7Richardson – UT-Dallas Center for Translation Studies presentation in Jonsson Performance Hall w/ Dr. Shelby Vincent, translator of Boullosa’sHeavens on Earth (forthcoming from Deep Vellum, December 2016)

April 11: Houston – Brazos Bookstore, presented in partnership with the Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia, 7pm, free

April 12: Austin – Malvern Books, 7pm, free

April 13: Dallas – Alamo Drafthouse Downtown Dallas, screening of Oscar-nominated documentary The Look of Silence + discussion to follow with Joe Fay on Indonesia’s modern history, 7pm, free (w/ $5 voucher reservation)

April 14: Dallas – Deep Vellum Books in discussion w/ Dr. Brandon Miller, professor at SMU, 7pm, free
